Ruminations is a colorful geometric abstract self-portrait that emerged from a late night of indulgence, reflection, and questionable choices. As I confronted the consequences of my actions, my shadow fell across a blank canvas which sparked some inspiration. Highly contrasting colors, intersecting shapes, and symbolism capture the conflict between self-awareness, recklessness, my own identity, and future. The piece is a confession born from vulnerability and introspection.
